The water cycle is one of Earth's most important natural systems.
Water constantly moves through the atmosphere, rivers, oceans,
lakes, and underground reservoirs in an endless, elegant loop.
Thousands of years before satellites and weather science,
the Quran described rain, clouds, and water flowing through
the Earth with remarkable precision.
This project explores the Quranic description alongside
modern scientific understanding โ revealing how faith and
knowledge illuminate one another.
"Have you not seen that Allah sends down water from the sky and causes it to enter the earth as springsโฆ"
Classical scholars explain that this verse invites people to observe how rain nourishes the Earth, flows through rivers, and is stored underground as springs. The verse encourages deep reflection on Allah's wisdom and the precise order within His creation.

This project helped me understand how faith and science can complement
one another. While science explains how the water cycle works
through observation and experiments, the Quran encourages us to think
deeply about these natural processes as signs of Allah's wisdom.
Studying both perspectives increased my appreciation for the natural
world and strengthened my understanding of the relationship between
knowledge and belief. The fact that a 7th-century text describes
what scientists confirmed centuries later is, in itself, a profound
invitation to reflection.
